The ui's r slow

The UI is slow because it uses Chromium, if it was using something like Python it wouldnt be so laggy, I am just stating facts from other games here but thats how I see it

 

a UI based on python would still be non-responsive when its threading priority is set lower than the physics processing system, just like most other programs when you try to bog down beamng with 100% cpu usage of cars

The main reason why the UI's are slow is SOMETIMES Caused by your CPU, In my case, I have a budget/low dollar CPU, and even with no mods it's running slow. But if you have a higher dollar CPU, I'm pretty sure it won't be as slow.
