Would you guys like to see a "all out" engine added in to the mix? say a 454 with a estimated 700-800 HP? Feedback is appreciated, on another note I just uploaded a new update to the repo and its currently waiting for approval. Added 4.30 locked rear diff Tweaked shift times --- Post updated --- Doing a bit more tuning, its getting better and better..
more power would be awesome, i want to be able to absolutely destroy the rear axle and suspension . maybe a stage 3 tuneable turbo on one of the motors? also, i changed the viscous coupling of the trans the 34 to give the car of 2500rpm torque converter stall of sorts. makes the car rocket off the line compared to stock
I just got done adding in another engine in the jbeam file This time Ford 7.5 NA crate motor with aggressive cam, built bottom end and EFI. Around 700-750 HP, and it is very fun to drive, without being "unrealistic" and "jumpy". Gotta do a few more transmission adjustments. and I added another rear gear ratio, 2.73 locked diff. Turbo'ing I think i'm going turbo the 7.5, on the 5.7 no because that's meant to be a "factory performance upgrade package" but we will see what happens. I'm also thinking of adding in a 4 speed manual, thoughts?

Howdy! I love the Burnside Special and this mod makes me love it even more! However I'm a bit frustrated and fickle on both the Performance and Stock engines because either the oil overheats and causes the engine to smoke and clatter, or the water overheats and causes the engine to steam and clatter, respectively. Are the engines supposed to overheat so easily? Maybe it's just me being unaccustomed to vintage automobiles; I'm still learning a bit about them myself and always surprise myself when I discover how certain mechanisms which are taken for granted in cars today were considered premium options a few decades ago.
