The update system and steam!

I was just wondering whats going to happen to the fancy updater, that they spent time on when the steam version is released ?

wont steam just use their updater to update the game? (i don't know how steam downloads&updates )

plus this has prob's been asked loads but when in the foreseeable future will it come to steam? I'm not bothered really, just curious.

Steam uses it's own update system from what I know. Release on steam will be when the game is in a more "finished" stage I guess. So not in the next weeks

 

Also, they'll probably still sell it on their store, from where you would most likely use their updates, not Steam's.

 

I remember tdev saying they would like to release the game on steam with at least some gameplay with it (races, deliveries, etc..)

So yeah as DevKryton said, it will not go on steam in the next few weeks (Or maybe If the devs hid something and they are 4 more people developing the game)

 

Right ok .well i wasn't expecting the next few weeks lol.but could you say 6-12 months or longer ?

that's true ! i just think the fanbase would be a lot bigger on steam more sales and workshop would be quite a used feature i guess ,i mean its got mods written all over it !
