The title says everything - write what was in your opinion the worst change to the BNG forums.

IMHO the worst one was banning RP from forums. There was RP in RoR forums, there was in BNG ones, and it was not a problem to anybody. Why did it get deleted?

NO HATING - CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM ONLY!

It was a request from the community since many mods with only one or two cars started to be over-released in the repo

Making it open to people who hadn't linked a purchase of the game to their account. It allowed more people who had pirated the game to join and steal mods for websites like World of Mods

In a way that was a good thing for me at least.

You are too young to create a BeamNG profile but you want to be able to have some fun with mods but don't want to touch third party sites. fear no more.

Even though I agree with you, the stealing was an issue long before they opened up the mods to everyone everywhere.

mmmmmmm going to disagree with that.

RP isn't deleted per se, it's just been cordoned off in private groups - a win-win for everybody. That way, the roleplayers can have their fun without the rest of the forum being constantly spammed with roleplay threads. When RP was allowed, the "What's New" button would return dozens of RP threads, effectively clogging the forum up to anyone that isn't interested in it. And, to be fair, the vast majority weren't interested in it, because the posts themselves are meaningless unless you're involved.

You see, a forum is to discuss various aspects of a topic, and even the offtopic posts have a point to get across. People bring something up, people agree, disagree, discuss, etc. But imagine a group of friends, or work acquaintances, or topic enthusiasts came together to discuss things, but they had to sit right next to a group of rowdy thirteen year olds playing Dungeons and Dragons. Now, there's nothing wrong with D&D, nor thirteen-year-olds, nor the two combined, but I hope you can see that they would not be a compatible crowd to share a forum with. So, let the D&D group sit somewhere else, and everyone's happy.

So, if you want to RP, here's the group to join:

Honestly the 2 things listed as worst changes to me were the best changes. But each to their own.

Yet it's 100 times better than VBulletin and allows for a lot more customizations.

    I don't even.

We are open to feedback and etc. But keep them constructive and possibly add details to your post.
Just saying 'X' without any reason doesn't help anybody, just creates anger.

@Nadeox1 4 it's 100 times better than VBulletin and allows for a lot more customizations.

Yeah but VBulletin was much more simpler and everyone accepted it. When you guys used Xenforo, it caused a huge mess and some people became more inactive (Like me). It also deleted likes. But 'positive comments incoming' It looks more modern and better, there is repository now, forums are more organized, some and features are easier to use.
