    1. Tires glitches out a lot.
    2. Engine glitches out a lot.
3 SEATS GLITCH OUT WAYYYY TO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!
    4. Front glass needs to break / pop out, not crack, because it stretches out..
    5. Cars catch fire WAYY too easily.
    6. Cars are way too light.
    7. Water physics are crap, just saying. :p
    8. Too many old cars in my opinion.
    9. No airbags. I know there's no people, but they should be added, there should also be a option to turn them off.
    10. MY OPINION, PLEASE DON'T GET MAD AT ME.

Let's see how many developers we can get to see this! :)

Well, the game isn't close to be being finished from what I've heard so, a lot of that takes time. In certain crashes, the glass still shoudl crack, because not all crashes cause the glass to just "pop out". Older cars catch fire more easily than modern cars do, so the fire thing is pretty correct. Water physics would take a ton of time to develop, so it's on the back burner from what I've seen. I'm no moderator, so if any of my info is false, please forgive me.

Well, if the correct speed was met the glass should pop out, if its going medium speed it should crack. Older cars should catch fire but cars like the Grand Marshall and Pessima which are modern cars, catch fire way to easily. But thanks for contributing to the thread! :)

    1. the tire model in this game is so complicated with the j beam structure, and coding it with the nods is harder, so that can be reduced a lot but it takes long

    2. really? Doesn't for me that much, also j beams in there would create instability because you can't j beam everything

    3. same as 2

    4. well, I am not sure about that but I agree

    5. the fire is very realistic, the only way I could see that is with mods

    6. there is a thread to this topic

    7. thats really hard to do as well, and with the physics with cars and other things it would take very very long and hold up more important things

    8. same as 6

    9. airbags deploy super fast, like less than half a second. that would be very hard to do with nodes and beams and would glitch

    10. i tried not to be mean, sorry if i was

i agree with the engine and the seats. those are the most irritating things to me. the wires in the engine bay tend to spike a lot. I got so annoyed with it once, i switch the mesh for the old low detail v8 :p . The seats also spike when hit in certain ways. its not very annoying unless it clips through to the outside of the car. But to me neither of these are a big deal for game this early in development.

The cars are not too light at all. Go weigh them (you can), you'll see they are the same as their real world weights, heck if anything, the sunburst is a few kilos overweight.

The Sunburst is just a few kilos overweight in general, because the cars it's based on are. 2900lbs for an I4/FF compact is just disgusting. My old Sunbird is lighter than that with an iron block/iron head V6. Granted, it would fold up like an accordion in any kind of accident, but seriously manufacturers... find a middle ground.

    My thoughts:
    1. ATM the tire sim in this game is really rough, there are a lot of nodes and beams, which makes a lot of room for things to mess up. But from most of my experiences its the rims that glitch out the most (I'm looking at you, ETK 800). The tires' main issue is popping on nearly any kind of obstacle that they touch from any direction besides "forward".

    2. The engine has the exact opposite issue; it's jbeam is too simple. Most engine jbeams in the game are just cubes, so everything just warps if the cube jbeam warps. This seems to happen a lot on the roamer.

    3. The seats have always glitched out, and probably will for a long time. One of devs explained this a while back, but I don't remember where. Basically, seats are too "soft" to be simulated with the current jbeam system. Jbeams work good for metal, plastic, rubber, and even wood in some cases. But simulating a small metal base and cloth/padding? It would end up glitching out even worse, and probably break physics a lot.

    4. Never seen that happen, but I can believe it happening.

    5. I can agree on this somewhat. ignoring the engine thermals, since those are still a work in progress, fuel tank ruptures are kind of annoying. Bottoming out at around 6 mph just to break your fuel tank and spontaneously combust seems just a little bit too much.

    6. This is actually related to another problem in the game; gauging speed is really difficult. People drive around and crash and wonder why their car was totaled from such a slow speed, while in reality they were going at over 100 mph. Since the game has no blurs, people end up going much faster than they think they are, unless they are staring at the speedometer. The cars are actually pretty overweight (as many other people said), but you end up going so fast they end up looking light weight.

    7. I'm pretty sure water physics are like, way on the bottom of their priority list right now, but it is a pretty bad sim. Just avoid water.

    8. A lot of people like older cars. Most of the other car games out there have old cars, but 99% of them are all welded and painted up into banger derby cars (Next Car Game for example). Many people have owned cars from the 80s-90s and want to drive them in a game.

    9. The idea of glitchy beamng airbags will forever more haunt my dreams. Image how many times your game would crash from that? Maybe in the future, when the game as been smoothed out a bit, they can be implemented, but at it's current state, it could just be a permanent game crasher.

Its good that ppl say their opinion on things. Its bad if they whine. Looking into what can be seen as an issue often shows up as earlier reported. Lets not forget we're still at 0.6 here ppl. Alot of whining and i fi was a dev seeing the 'i want this, i want that, why isnt this fixed' and so on as often as these threads show up it would make me sick of it quite fast.
Cant say i care about the issues mentioned above at all, since its at beta stage still and has been answered so many times. The tire model/type for example is what, third or fourth take on how to simulate it. Were not talking the ordinary way its modeled in most games, here the rubber itself is modeled.
