Nope, it's actually something pretty usual on most steam-platform games, including BeamNG. most games usually update their ELUA & TermsOfService, rights to use the product, ect roughly from each half a year to 2 years or so. this is normal in most cases since new rules for both the platform that the game is on, and the publisher country come out pretty often each year or so, or the game devs just wanted to update how users / players use their game. either way, nothing to worry about here.
(reposting from a similar thread in reddit) Oops. The EULA didn't change; it's only the "Accept/Cancel" dialog that got triggered by accident yesterday, while a colleague was working on tweaks to our internal Steam publishing settings. Sorry about that - it was an honest mistake, we didn't intend to show this dialog to the entire community for no real reason If anyone wants to verify, you can compare both versions side by side to check there's indeed no difference (you should be able to rescue an older EULA using archive.org, or any other similar independent third party website). (fyi in the future we'll have to push a legitimate, real update to the EULA, fixing some typos we have, some broken URLs, outdated years, and possibly more tweaks. When we do that, we intend to post an explanation and gather feedback from you all. Just like when we posted the original first draft of our EULA in public, and asked everyone for their opinion, in case anyone had any concerns, or in case we might have missed something problematic for the community)
It's honestly all good I was only mostly curious, and a teensy bit scared something happened with my progress or Steam in some way. Thanks for the clarification, have an awesome day/night
