Hey i recently bought a computer for gaming it has a i7-7700 and a gtx 1060 3gb as well as 12gb of ram is this enough? for 1080p and atleast a few cars?
Depends what is top quality or quality in that matter. It plays most of the time just fine on high and 1080p I believe. It will not be enough for 4K Map making is much more nicer with 32GB ram according to Bob It will lag with max graphics settings under certain conditions, but it will be rare I believe. 3GB of GPU vram is not too much, that is going to be most limiting factor, for top quality gaming you would need more, but definitely BeamNG will be nice to play with that rig and you can upgrade GPU later to 1180 or whatever there is in two years at the future.
