I find it difficult to stop the car without turning on the parking break, because there is no true break. When you hold down arrow the car stops then starts going backwards, then you press forward and it goes forward. It would be nice if there were gears like in rigs of rods with park, reverse, and drive. Or set it up where it brakes when you hold down arrow until you unclick it and click it again, then it starts going in reverse. Just a suggestion that i have.
You can press q to switch between automatic, manual with clutch, and manual with auto clutch. I do think they should make the automatic drive to reverse shift time longer though so that you can bring your car to a stop a lot easier.
im sure they prob have plans for it as its only alpha atm but yes like a real auto you still have to manually select Drive, Neutral and reverse would work a lot better than it automatically going from drive to reverse.
Gabester has said that they are working on a PRND system for the auto similar to what was used in RoR.
