I'm having trouble adding thrusters to cars - sometimes when I add them they shoot the car off to the side rather than forwards. I've read the wiki page but still have no clue how to alter the direction of the thrust. Please can anyone tell me what I need to do to adjust this?

    Thanks.

When you add a thruster you have to define TWO nodes.

    (imported from here)
    (DAT DRAWING SKILLS M8)

The direction is defined by the imagine line that will connect this 2 nodes.
The example above would be [1,2]

So if you want a thruster to push the car forward, you have to make sure that the 2 nodes are on the same X and Z axis, so the force will be applied only on the Y axis (car lenght)

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense, but how do I define the nodes? Very new to modding this game!

Press L to switch the node debugs. Press it until you are at the NODE NAMES debug mode. That's the name of the node you have to specify.

Thanks! I'll give that a try.
