If BeamNG detects the controller but nothing happens, then you just need to bind the actions to the functions.

Open Controls, find steering, click the plus sign and move the wheel. It should accept the input, then press Save. Continue until all the functions are done.

Does the device show up in the "Controls" menu, "Hardware" tab?
If it shows, do all buttons and axes appear on that screen?
If they appear, do they move correctly while you move them?

If nothing appears, can you check on Windows Control Panel, Game Controllers section, to see if the device appears, and if all the buttons/axes move correctly there?

1: Yes It Does Show Up In Controllers.
2: It Shows All Axes + Buttons.
3: The Movements Wont Be Shown.
4: Yes In Game Controllers ALL AXES WORK. So Im Just Assuming Its BeamNG.drive.

Thanks for the information NoahMarcelh. Next BeamNG update will include extended logs to help me trace the problem.

Is it still failing? If so, please attach the beamng.log file so I can take a look at the new information we dump in logs Thanks!

Hi, I may have a similar problem with MS Sidewinder FFB wheel. The controller is shown in menu and all buttons and axis show their state and movement. Despite that, when assigning controls, it properly shows last detected input like "joystick0, xaxis" but then it turn into an empty icon (no "x-axis" in it), there are no more options, the controls are never bound and do not work game.
