I just got my thrustmaster t150, which has 1080 degree steering, which works fine, except it soft locks at 840 degrees instead of letting me turn the full 1080. I have looked all over the internet and haven't found anything related to my problem. Not even with other wheels. I also haven't set it to soft lock at all, if there even is a way to. This wheel works just fine on my ps4 and ps3.

Are you driving a car with 840 degrees of lock when the wheel seems to lock at 840 degrees?

Sorry about the late response. No, any car even with less of a turn radius than 840 and it only turns 840. I did notice however that when there is no input from the game going to the wheel to tell it where to soft lock at on my ps4, it automatically soft locks at 840. Maybe the game doesn't recognize the locking degrees of my wheel?

Try the following: set the steering angle to zero in beamng "steering" binding, and set the steering angle to 1050 in your drivers.

Then report back what happens, if the problem remains, if the problem changes, or if the problem disappears.

In addition to the above, can you please clarify what exactly you mean with "soft lock"?

It uses the force feedback motors to "lock the wheel". You can still turn beyond the soft lock limits but it is very hard and there is no further steering response.

How do I change the settings for the drivers? I went to the folder with the drivers and it doesn't have a .exe. I don't know where to go.

Nvm I was able to figure out how to configure it. I did what you told me to do, and set the wheel to 1025, and now it has a response zone of 1025 degrees. I found out my problem was because the default setting was 900 degrees. I am now about to set it to 1080 in the drivers, and in beamng set the steering angle to 1080. This should fix my problem.

Problem SOLVED. And for anyone looking at this who doesn't know how to access the driver settings for the wheel, they are in control panel/devices and printers/the controller you are using/right click/game controller settings/properties

    Good to hear :)

Thanks for explaining how to configure that steering wheel, other players may find it useful.
