    Hello All.

I can't get my wheel to steer cars. In the control- hardware I can see it working in the x axis but in the game I can't get to steer. I can attach the buttons and the pedals from wheel to the controls but the steering axis my wheel does not show up. I have the latest drivers. Any ideas ? Thank you for your time.

If its not already, put it in PS3 mode.

If it wasn't, flip the switch, unplug it (From computer and wall), and plug it back in.

y steering wheel turns all the way left/right[edit]
Try checking/unchecking the "Inverted" checkbox under the Force Feedback tab. Some steering wheels or driver updates need a different setting.

My Thrustmaster steering wheel turns all the way left/right since September/2017[edit]
Go to Options > Controls > Force Feedback > XAxis > Update Rate Limit, choose 100Hz, then click Apply.

    but nothing. Any ideas?

Did you plug your steering wheel in the USB 3.0 port?

I am afraid I only have usb 3. I will try to think of a way to get it hooked up to usb 2.

If you have only USB 3.0, remove force feedback, you will have no longer force feedback, but you can steer more smothly

love to try it but beamng does not recognize my wheel anymore, I could not see it at the hardware. Looked at windows and there is no problem there. I hooked my xbox mc 2 to beamng and no problems there.

The wheel is correctly recognized by the game. You should be able to see buttons/axis move if you go to Options > Controls > Hardware. Let me know if that's not the case.

The only thing you need to do is correctly set up the controls for it. Correctly you have set up button #6 to brake and button #7 to throttle. I suspect you don't want to use buttons, but actual axes. Remove those bindings and add the correct ones. Recheck all other bindings you have there too.

If the Options > Controls > Hardware shows your pedals as buttons, rather than as axes, then you must check your steering wheel manual (or contact with Thrustmaster support channels) to find out how to make them behave as axes.

The game can not detect the wheel now but I checked my computer and shows that it shows perfectly.

sorry I have not replied earlier, I have been sick and then I had to catch up with work.
This is what I did to fix this . It had to do with steam. I had to un click generic gamepad config at Big picture mode at Steam. beamng1.png

Now Beam recognize my wheel even the when turning left and right (x axis.) beamng2.png beamng3.png

But when I bind it, it does not work. beamng4.png

    All the other buttons work.

You probably just need to steer even more for it to be detected, go lock to lock.
