    Hi all,

For some reason I can't get the FFB to work properly with the T500 RS.

I've been playing around with force feedback settings in safe mode for an hour now, but no matter how I set it up I don't get any feedback at all while driving. When hitting a big bump, braking into a corner or at certain steering wheel angles I'll briefly get some feedback. Nothing from small bumps, gravel and no self aligning torque whatsoever.

Tweaking max strength and smoothing only affects the feeling in those short moments I can feel anything happen at all.

I haven't played around with the response curve itself however, and to be honest I don't really feel confident in doing so either.

As I said, tried it out in Safe Mode, since I do have some mods installed but to no avail. Working with the wiki from the ground up didn't resolve it either unfortunately.

Do a clean reinstall, to rule out the possibliity of non-standard mods and of corrupted files: https://wiki.beamng.com/BeamNG_FAQ#How_do_I_perform_a_clean_reinstall.3F
If you followed the wiki, I assume you have followed your steering wheel manual/support to install and update its drivers and set them up if necessary. If not, please do that.
Also make sure Steam's Big Picture stuff is disabled, as instructed here: https://wiki.beamng.com/Steering_wh....3E_Hardware.2C_but_works_fine_in_other_games

Thanks for the reply, although I have already sent a message to a moderator with a request to delete the thread.

After a while the fault seemed to come up in different sims as well, so I suspect the wheel itself.

Quick praise of your work: What you guys have managed to achieve with BeamNG over the years is absolutely astonishing! I've been following the project since the very first videos came up on YouTube and became an adopter on day one. There is no sim better for true car enthusiasts. Keep it up!

    Thanks for your words :)

(regarding thread deletion, it's okay to leave it here, it could help people in the future if they search the forums when they have issues and see possible tips or solutions)
