Time Trial Timer Broken? Not the data resets!

Firstly, I haven't seen anyone notice this but when I use the timetrial UI Apps setting the timer will either not start a hotlap, start one very short lap and then start the actual lap, and/or wont stop when you cross the line.

If there is a thread for this already please link me over to it because I can't find anyone else have this.

I did this in both safe mode and with my mods and its an issue no matter what.

I don't know if its tied to the logged data resetting but its something I've come across in all of the sportier vehicles. I haven't tried it with something like the d-series.

If anyone else or has a fix for this let me know, thanks.

Another note: I think it happens when you use twostep in freeroam with the timer. When I set them up without it and then just go it works. It needs more testing but that's what I've noticed so far.
