what? if you place 1 car the game will be more gpu intensive, if you add more cars then cpu intensive, there's no way to toggle if the game is cpu or gpu intensive. Not until they allow the physics to run on OpenCL (GPU) which is a lot more efficient than the CPU for physics calculation, then it will be more balanced. I can't wait for OpenCL support, this game really needs it.

I noticed the strangest things making the game lag. Like vegetation. A lot of vegetation makes the game lag no matter the physics "stress" you put on the pc momentarily. A lot more optimizations will come by time, what will give us extremely good performance in return. Even now, i can run and play with a gt630m (what is just a renamed gt540m from early 2011!!!). Its still quite good optimized being the first ever release. And performance wise, i would say that now its much more GPU intensive than CPU intensive. My cpu is usually at max 35% while my gpu is doing all the rest of the job. Thats unlucky if you have a slightly outdated gpu.
