Too many sound sources nearby causes drop-out of sound server.
Clicks, pops, crackles, FMOD just gives up the ghost until it can catch up 5+ seconds later.

Good way to re-create this is put about 30+ pianos in an articulated lorry / truck trailer. It's possible to do it with 20 or so, but over 30 is a real good way to show what happens. I did it with 50 and as soon as you get over 30~40 MPH (50KMH) road speed you'll start hearing wind-noise and tire rolling noise gets louder, usually then it drops out badly.

This also happens on big, rather dense highway pile-up crashes. This happens with or without mods, only the sheer number of vehicles sets it off. It happened in 0.10.x and pre-hot-fixed 0.11.x (it happens about every time I break out the pianos here).

Though there's lots of fun to be had now that you can have dozens and dozens of vehicles! Thanks for that.
Sound being all software-driven, it's likely it just can't keep up. This happens with a dedicated sound card on my machine, and with 'motherboard audio' on another machine (another user). I thought it was my volume 'normalize' leveler kicking in, it is not. This is why this wasn't reported in 0.10.x

You may have a hard time getting the vehicle up to speed, so if you're going to test this, maybe drive down the US 40 mountain in Roane County TN on the highway, you should be able to get substantially good speed as there is a lot of running room.

Or just drop 20~30 covets in a trailer off a building (so they hit at once). That will do it (or should!).

Once a few (say 4~6) vehicles are making 'wind noise' or you have so many instance of a sound (Except engine, need that!) they should just 'ignore' excess sounds (besides, there wouldn't be wind-noise with goods in a trailer, except the dry goods trailer itself).

Over-all the game isn't 'TOO' buggy these days and is quite well-polished I must say, aside of the tunnel reverb sticking with multiple cars doing tunnel crashes, not having too many bugs. Great jobs on an otherwise fun game!
