So while coding for bus transmissions, i can't help but notice that the torque converter lockup is quite limiting at the moment. Only above a certain RPM and gears at the moment. For example on a Dennis Dart (bus) with Allison AT545, we have this shift sequence: 1 2 2nd Lock 3rd 3rd Lock 4th 4th Lock The unlocking and locking allow for the limited gear ratios (4!) to keep the revs similar and act like it has many more gear ratios. Don't really have a good demo video to show you, but i get on a bus daily with AT545 and i can tell it does that sequence. Now, i can do some of this in BeamNG, i can simulate the 2nd to 2nd lock, by making 3rd gear the same ratio as 2nd, and making the torque cconverter lock up in gears higher than 2nd. But it then goes from 2nd lock to 3rd lock, no unlocking as i can't do that.
