Tow Hitch option not appearing?

Trying to attach the trailer but its not coming up in the config?

It no longer works this way. Spawn a trailer from the vehicles menu using the "Spawn New" button, position your truck so the trailer hitch is close to the trailer and hold down "L" until they connect

 

Yeah, i worked it out after a load of attempts, i spawned them both and spammed every key thanks for the reply

 

Does L only work on certain trucks? Got an older mod tweaked to work in 0.6.1 (86 Silverado) but no matter what I do, it will not connect to a trailer.... Is that maybe something to do with the truck itself? Any ideas on how to fix it if it is just the truck? I've got Blender, Notepad++ etc if it's a matter of editing a jbeam or something like that. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

You have to add a coupler to the trailer hitch node. Old mods won't have this added because the feature didn't exist yet
