I was literally reading the 0.9.01 blogpost and then I clicked Devblog by accident and I saw the trading card post. I like the artwork a lot. Keep them coming!
just showed up i was like wtf is this. But what do you do with trading cards? It says its worth $20 but i cant sell it......
I really like the artwork style! The plain silver/coloured glass looks good and is a very smart way to get a consistent art style flowing. I'm still not quite sure about two things though: 1. How much play time does it take to unlock a new card? 2. Is the more realistic portrayal of the Grand Marshal Police intentional? Is this going to be a special feature for certain cards? -Edit- Hilariously, there's already a listing for a 200BX trading card offered for a little over $520.00...
Heh, I don't think anyone would ever buy a trading card for more than $0.50, it's probably more worth it imo to just collect all the cards and get the badge.
The best deal I can find right now is a Miramar going for $0.30, and that's right after release. I think we'll start to see things stabilize fairly quickly.
Steam Trading cards. You can access them in your steam account under "Inventory", and unlock more by logging a currently unspecified amount of gameplay time. There should be one on your account right now. Let us know which one you've got!
Would I get multiple due to me logging over 300 hours on beam? Also, I can't check right now, as I'm on a trip.
Dang it, well, due to the stupid amount of time I drop into this game, then I should get a lot of them very quickly!
Kinda makes sense, it probably is beneficial for devs that people play trough steam and I guess this is way to encourage that, if it just would not be so bloated and slow way to launch the game, I would have a lot of hours instead of 22 hours it shows.
I have (error) 404 hrs on BeamNG --- Post updated --- I got the Gavril D15 as someone who collects baseball cards I kinda like this feature
Sorry to break it to you, but you get a maximum of four trading cards per game, until the market runs dry, and then they start dropping again.
