When can we expect an update for the transmissions and drivelines in the game? Features such as electronic locking differentials, proper transfer cases (2WD, 4WD High and Low, etc.), the clutch/torque converter working in the automatics' first and second gears, and the parking gear using an independent system to only stop only the driven wheels would go a long way in enhancing the realism and playability of the game.

I know the developers have a few other projects planned at the moment, and 0.4.2.0 was just released, so I'm not expecting to see another big update soon. I'm just looking for some information that people, including myself, may be interested in.

    Thanks in advance.

Agreed. But in my opinion, the sound needs an update more than anything. Then comes performance, then drivetrain.

I think the cars already do this, such as the covet, in P it does not roll away but the rear wheels are still free...last I played it was like that anyway.

I agree with the sound; the Covet's new audio is like night and day. I was just wondering if the developers had considered any of the changes I mentioned and, if so, to what extent and when.

Unfortunately putting the car in park is just the same as putting it in Neutral and applying the brakes. The brake lights even turn on. I personally liked the old system more where it would automatically apply the parking brake but I'm sure the developers have their reasons for changing it.
