I think that there should be a way to detach and reattach trailers to trucks, and have multiple options for different trailers. Also, another suggestion is to have a dump truck T-series with an option for a heavy drawbar trailer for large equipment.
Hopefully this thread can attract the attention of somebody like Gabester or Nadeox, so it might become a thing in an update
True, it is combining 2 separate entities, but with a bit of work, it could be done, and if it is done, maybe the trailers would have their own spots in the vehicle selector.
not just that. The devs said due to performance issues of having the trailer and truck on the core, they would need to put the trailer onto a separate cpu core. That means they would have to split a vehicle over 2 cores, which from my understanding isnt the easiest thing to do.
It could be possible to make the trailer a separate vehicle entirely, and have it connect to the tow hitch or 5th wheel, or not. FYI: I don't know much about this stuff
I can tell. I know exactly what you want, but it'll be very difficult to make a way for them to connect, let alone the accuracy needed to connect them.
I guess it may have to be a long term project for Gabester, but if he makes it, he will make it well.
