Turbo assistance

Hello! Would anybody be kind enough on explaining to me how I would go about setting up a turbo? I have created one but I am not happy because I feel it is very unrealistic, What I am asking is could someone write down the different values that you can configure and how it effects the turbo spooling and power wise, also how I would go about making the perfect turbo for my engine aswell as creating a powerband and creating peak torque how I want it to, any knowledge on the turbos will be appreciated!!
