I for the life of me cannot get the turbo sounds to get louder. I have increased the increment via .Jbeam files yet have very subtle changes. I also am having a hard time replacing the actual sound all the files are mapped accordingly via there directory locations in a unpacked mod file.

Hi, we are currently clamping the max volume on all events to prevent distorting the internal audio mixer. We'll look at raising that clamp in due course.

Regarding changing the sound. We are now using the FMOD audio middleware system, and this doesn't allow sample changing in the same way as the previous system - this is something we still need to look in to.

Not you, no, as it's set up in FMOD, but once we've had time to find a "good" way to do this then yes. The issue for me is that simply removing clamps means the audio system can be overloaded and I want to prevent, or at least limit, the chances of this happening. This isn't just for turbo's, but when a wide variety of audio events all have those clamps lifted.
