so I've struggled to understand the turbo charger numbers for the longest time. I know how to make it give the power I want, but that assumes I know how a turbo graph would look exactly.

looking at the pressurePSI examples, the "turbineRPM" and "pressure(PSI)" columns seem quite straight forward. But this falls apart with "engineDef", if we have a look at the old wiki https://wiki.beamng.com/Turbocharger.html at the bottom is says the 3 columns are for engine rpm, a multiplier of power (which seems to be to fake lag?), and something to do with exhaust torque spinning the turbo (probably to do with the feedback loop of a turbo)

Ideally an engine would have an exhaust volume table, and the turbo would have an exhaust volume to turbo rpm table, then the "pressurePSI" table would create the boost.

Now knowing how my brain works, can someone maybe help me understand how to adapt a turbo from one engine to another? Let's use an extreme example of the us_semi's turbo on a small engine. Do I just guess the turbo lag, or is there a way of maths-ing this out?

Next upload: Pigeon with t-series turbo...

Sorry mate, but I don't know anything about beamng modding :p

Here's hoping you can fulfill your bigger-than-engine turbo dreams :)

Well, imo, the turbocharger (not supercharger) is some kind of force feedback. Pressure from the engine output is used to increase pressure to the engine input. So I don't think it makes much sense to simply put a bigger turbocharger onto a small engine cause there is not enough engine output pressure to drive it. It would be some kind of perpetual motion machine at a certain point and thus not logical.
