Here is a Tutorial for fix missplaced glass texture. I'm taking example with the R35 from @Raging Midget vs Gaming 1st : Load your car 2nd : Press F11 on your keyboard to open the Editor go to Window } Material Editor 3rd : click on your Vehicle and search for : "glass /glass_dmg /windshield_dmg" click on "glass" and delete the BaseColor Map and the Opacity Map 4th : When your glasses are white Go to Opacity Map } Factor get the factor down to 0.20 and the glasses will look like this : And do the same for when you crack the glass. 5th : Save it by clicking the save tool : And NOW your vehicle is good to go.
First of all can any more experienced modder i've heard of confirm if this works or not? Second does this save into the file of the car? like when I save then launch the mod back up again does it also show up with fixed glass textures or if I share this mod will it also be fixed for others?
This seems like just fucking up the mod, if it actually want to fix a misplaced texture you need to fix the UV map in blender
