    So I just found out about this my self while cleaning junk mods from my mods folder
    so this is how you make a config mod
    heres a small tutorial

    first you go to your documents folder

    then you goto your beamNG.drive folder in the documents folder

    then goto the vehicles folder in that folder

    then find the car you want to make a custom config for (works with moded vehicles too

    I used the 200bx for example
    there are pc files that have your config that you made ingame in

    you copy that file paste it in a folder or to your desktop

    now you put that file in a folder and make a folder in that folder called vehicles
    in that folder you make a folder called the name of your car the config is for I did coupe (200bx)
    then you put your pc file in the cars folder (for example coupe )

    make a new txt document and name it info_(config name).json
    the you paste
    "Description":"your disc.",
    "Configuration":"config name",
    "Transmission":"type",
    in that .json file and all that's left to do after that is test it and make a picture that you will also name it the same as your config and you will make it a .png file
    I had too many pictures to add on this tutorial so I will add a video eventualy.
    [edit] Also to package it as a mod you send the vehicles folder to a .zip file and upload it enjoy!
