I would like to see some sort of tutorial on how to make items/content to Beamng Drive (Cars, Terrains, you name it), i do know about the wiki but for some people (like me) it won't do. It is as for now too little info for someone who doesn't got a clue where to start. If someone would be so kind and make some sort of video tutorial where it goes from the start to end of the making of the map/car i would be very happy and i might finely be able to make at least some terrain/maps as i truly want to learn but got a problem to keep up and understand (and i know i'm not the only one). I am currently trying my hardest to learn it by myself (currently just messing with the terrain generator, much further in the process am i unable to get). EDIT (off-topic): CL looks like a d with small letters... am i the only one (like this: cl)?
You?re right i really need some tutorials that will eplain how things are working .. what i need to do things i wanted to, how the editor works etc, i found out somthing by myself but thats not enough. I would pay for a really good tutorial explaination site if there is one realating to this game. Hope my englisch is not to bad.
try the rigs of rods wiki alot of the same stuff applies also dig around on youtube/google alot of things like mesh making is the same for most games they are just exported in different formats its more down to the program you use to make the meshes that is what i understand correct me if im wrong the whole modding thing slowly gets easier as you understand more you just have to keep at it if i had $1 for every mod ive attempted i would be pretty rich
For tutorials on editors go to Torque3D tutorials. For BeamNG cars just dig around the default cars; it's easy to understand.
AH! I didn't think of that (about looking up torque tutorials). Thank you, hopefully will this help me understand the terrain editor better.
BUMP! sadly so didn't any of the torque 3D tutorials bump into the same problems i got (terrain disappearing when trying to load it from a save and seeing trough terrain [rendering errors]).
