not sure if this has already been suggested but it'd be cool if the car's starters worked like in real life. you could press v (or whatever your engine start button is) once to turn the electronics on and from there you'd be able to use lights and stuff, then if you held v the engine would actually start, and when the engine was off completely nothing electronic in the vehicles could work. idk, i just think it could be a cool way to add a little realism
Yea, this is probably not going to happen, literally nothing is made for that, starting with the light setup of the cars.
does this also rule out battery simulation? I think the biggest aspect to this would be leaving your ignition on and the car having drained enough power to not start. However I do know that the average life of a beamNG car is only about 10 minutes before it's reset Could be a cool career mode thing (starter torque proportional to battery chg, and minimum engine rpm to start) , however I wouldn't mind it being perhaps on the last of the list of things to do
Fun fact, it's actually more like < 2 minutes. This certainly is somewhere on some list fairly low... I wouldn't hold my breath though.
Really ?, I thought people would actually like to, you know, like drive the thing, get to know it and feel out what its capable of, or am I sourly mistaken
Moreover, it would be great long keeping starter button before many old vehicles start. And breaking start if button released too early. That was discussed already. Sadly that don't even expected to release.
