    Hi

As the title states, is it possible to via a UIApp access external files?
For instance in the following examples:
    • Access a textfile located in the beamng directory or in the mods directory or in the ui apps directory for that matter. (Read from it, Write to it)
    • Access a picture located at any of the above mentioned locations. So that we can set a <img> element with a path to it and display it.
This would be rather neat. I know that UI Apps use Javascript/HTML but didn't know if there was some undocumented methods available for accessing files.

    Thanks in advance

The purpose that i see is like this:

At the end of a scenario, catch the value from the timer div and output into a textfile when the user clicks a button on the UIApp.

    Or:
Using the map created by Googlefluff in the thread http://www.beamng.com/threads/east-coast-usa-map-v1-0.16782/ and have a button in the UIApp that is a "show map" button. It then opens the image and displays it over everything untill the user clicks the button again, hiding it.

Since that map is so well done it would be awesome to just be able to view it ingame.
And storing lap times would be really nice aswell.
