Re: Desert truck Typical gabester. Names his cars nice, believable names, like Covet, Grand Marshall. But if you ask him for a name for your car, something like Hell Pig comes thru (read it slowly Hell ..... Pig) @Dennis-W: Looks nice. Would love to try this on the Dev's test map

Except an optional "pretty fast" version... :') I've been thinking about designing some truck jeep thing before that would handle horribly but take any sort of abuse, wheither it be fast baja or slow rockcrawling... This seems to do just that(though I guess the long wheelbase would be a bit iffy for crawling).... Which automatically makes it awesome. That, and I love the OshKosh cab... Screw it, I like the whole thing And +1 on the "Hell pig" name, or Hell Cow

Will do I could make an extra version with a bigger turbo'd or supercharged v8, will need to see how fast it will be with the current engine. The frame can handle some abuse, it's made out of 2 massive 6 meters long C channels which weigh about 35kg's a meter, that makes about 420kg's worth of framerails. I only need to find time to works on it...

Re: Desert truck What! just because it is mid engine doesnt mean its fast, it just means the motor is in a different place. just think, what about trucks, the engine is behind you but there not really fast and this truck wouldnt be 50-50 weight balance because of the cab
Re: Desert truck -Worked out the suspension links. -Worked out the driveshafts. -Started building some frame around it.
Re: Desert truck He was taking the piss man, just like how racing stripes add 15-20hp, or blue LED's in a PC reduce the temperature by 5 degrees.
