Unable to shift correctly with logitech G29 shifter

In BeamNG, I was trying to drive a manual vehicle. Since the vehicle immediately redlined when shifting to second gear, I wanted to skip second gear. However, when I tried to shift from first to first, it went to 2nd gear. I then discovered that if from neutral I shifting to 2nd gear, then 4th gear, then 6th gear, then 5th gear, it would go through gears 1 to 4, not 2nd then 4th then 6th then 5th. Another thing is that if you are in a gear that is one more gear away from what you are shifting to (for example 6th to second), you can go to neutral then to the gear, back to neutral, then to the gear again and every time it downshifts/upshifts once, instead of going directly to the gear.

 

I think you may have set "shift up"/"shift down" bindings for some of the gears? Idk..
