That's because it isn't on the repository, you can find the zip containing the mod ni the first post. Then, put it in your userfolder. You can access it by using the second option in the launcher. Then, navigate to 0.23/mods and paste it here.
After i download the zip i cant find out what to do --- Post updated --- So i downloaded the zip, what do i do after, on windows 10 pc
Open the beamng launcher, click on manage userfolder, then open userfolder, click on 0.23, then mods, and paste the zip here.
Ok, so 1: Type %appdata% into your windows search thingy on your task bar 2: Go back to the main appdata folder, out of roaming 3: Click on "Local" 4: Find a folder called BeamNG.drive 5: Open it and click 0.23 or latest 6: Put the downloaded zip folder into the "mods" folder seen here. if you do not have a mods folder, make one. and that's it
Hey, I'm new to BeamNG, and I just downloaded your update... so much fun man! Except for one tiny thing... I agree w/ imma El Camino, mine is missing the red cover on the light for the police config
The mod is old, beacon lights are broken which were made in 0.22 because the materials were changed in 0.23, the mod may be updated at some point, be patient.
^ Or do what MC-H did and reach out to the author and get perms to update the mod and add to it, MC-H hasn't been on his account since September so there is every chance this will never receive another update. This is how modding works unfortunately modders lose interest or life gets in the way, Stoat is usually a very reasonable and understanding person(he likely won't just say yes though if all you are known for is low effort mods) so its not an impossibility to learn modding and keep things going that you like, just be respectful to the mods original authors and never lose sight that you wouldn't be in the position had someone not made the mod originally, in other words don't grow an ego and everything will be fine. Or don't do any of that idc
Yeah, true. Could do that, as well as the tutorials which have been uploaded it isn't impossible to try do it yourself.
Hey, i cleared cache like 3 times while following all the guides and i dont have any textures, can someone please help me?
I think I should explain the situation here. Right after V1.1 was released, I started doing some experimental features (such as interior colors), but they were just that, experiments. I wasn't happy with how they turned out, so I put everything on hold for the time being. Then 0.23 was released. I didn't completely understand how to update the materials, and there were so many of them that needed updating. I was frustrated and left this altogether, thinking maybe I would just fix this another time. I guess I was too naive. Never thought an awful situation could happen. Now I have to try harder to deal with real-life problems, and I probably wouldn't touch this again for some time. I updated around 90 of the most important materials to v1.5. I'm not sure if the rest need updating. I did this in a hurry, so hopefully, there aren't any issues. I would like to thank a few kind fellows who offered to help. I apologize for not replying since I'm not good with words. Thank you for your understanding. V1.2 (2021.12.19): -Revamped various configurations based on community feedback. -Readjusted 318 power output. -Adjusted stock rev limiter settings. -Improved gauge textures, and added metric and whiteback gauges. -Added preset interior colors and colorable interior (Experimental). -Updated around 90 materials to Materials v1.5.
