1.5 is way too big for a base model in Europe for a car as small as Covet.

Id like the return of the motorcycle engine from the pigeon, maybe as an aftermarket swap

It's also kind of a weird displacement, this is obviously just a trend, not a real rule, but i noticed manufacturers often use even numbers (1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0) for petrol engines, and odd numbers (1.3, 1.5, 1.7, 1.9) for diesels.

Yes but if you look at many models of similar sizes, they have engines like 1.0 or 1.2 as base models, while 1.6 and above tend to be higher trims, it's unusual to have a 1.5 in the most basic model

Oh, i thought it would say "beamng dev" like others on his profile but his occupations are indeed in beamng. I stand corrected, even though he still does a lot of mods and it's unlikely to appear officialy, it simply uses the same node and beams structure as cars, it would not be good for performance to use it everywhere.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the Carbureted SOHC 1.5 is totally fine as a base engine for the Covet.

Some Japanese companies used 1.5 engines. Honda did and also Mazda did (our '96 323 Sedan we once had, had a 1.5 DOHC)! It's 100% normal, get over it! :p

Wonder when a Pre-war car will become a thing in BeamNG... Two possibilities, it's either close, or once hell freezes over. They've been doing modern cars recently, the vivace, the new bruckell, and retroish cars such as the 4 wheel pigeon, the funny 3 wheel thing and the wendover. Maybe they'll take the clock back (hopefully) and do something pre war

    In the beamng game credits

Helping behind the scenes, while not a developer, still does stuff which I assume has to deal with quality control, beta testing, idea development and possibly help as well.

    Definitely still involved in it

bruh, drowsy sam was a dev like 5 years ago, he then left for some reason that im not aware of.

just because he DID work for beamng at some point, and that his names are in the credit, that he is STILL A BEAMNG DEV....

if he was still a dev, his profile would be glowing with a nice dev badge.
    as simple as that.
