update

hi guys I love the beamng game I have had it for awhile, I just got an email about a new update. I am not that great with computers and I am trying to download the latest version, could someone explain how I would go about it. thank you

 

Do you have BeamNG.drive on Steam? If so, you don't have to worry about updating it, Steam will update it for you.

If you don't have Steam, I highly recommend you get it, that way you can get updates for the game.

 

just downloaded steam but it says the beamng is not yet available

 

Yes, it's not available to buy off steam. Look at the big pink banner above the forum. You get the game through steam with the steam key you should've got in your email. Then register it in steam.

 

You need to activate the game on steam, you can get your activation key by clicking on the "Download" tab on the upper bar. Once you open steam, click on the "add a game" button in the lower left corner and select the "activate a product on steam" option. Once you redeem your code steam will download the entire game and it will update it to the newest version whenever possible.
