So of course steam auto updates my game that's fine but what I really don't like is that it got rid of my custom tunes and I'm severely pissed off right now... No AWD drift ute, No AWD drift 200bx this is some A+ bs also when I switch from the unibody stanced sunburst to the ute body it gets rid of the stance in the front wheels... I severely hate this game right now I've been a player of RoR and this since they both came out... This makes it really not worth the money when an update happens and it breaks 0/10

that happens every update. Turn off automatic updating perhaps... That way you get a chance to make a backup

    Moderate your language please.
Swears and alike won't get nobody anywhere.

Updates DO NOT touch your mods, custom configuration or etc. (Documents/BeamNG.Drive)

Are you sure you haven't pressed the 'Clear Cache' button in the new launcher by mistake?
If you do, all your custom stuff gets moved to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/backup (You can simply put them back in this case).

If you haven't pressed that, check in Documents/BeamNG.Drive/vehicles (This is where the game stores custom configuration).
    Are those still there?

For broken vehicles configuration, the updates often changes parts in vehicles. Some of your configuration may need to be updated to work correctly. This is inevitable in a game that is constantly getting updates.

to be fair it only happens when the user overwrites stock content or places things in the cache folder that gets wiped every update instead of putting it in mods...

This is why I have to clear my cache... Every time I load the game if I dont clear my cache it does this its not frozen just stuck Capture.PNG
    --- Post updated ---
Put my variants back in but can't use the game without clearing now so no variants
    --- Post updated ---
And sorry for my language its just really frustrating when a new update breaks everything

Excuses accepted. This is an Early Access title, and the team is working day and night on it. Things like this are daily stuff for us.

Are you using the 'More Feature Mods' ?
What you get is usually the result of using theat mod with an incompatible version of the game.

Go to Documents/BeamNG.Drive/mods and remove it if you use.

So, next time you know what to do.
Mods are very unstable in a game that keeps changing, always check if those cause issues first! :)
