I'm pretty sure the forum uses XenForo 1.5.xx, and it's starting to look dated. The Rigs of Rods forum also just had a major upgrade to the latest version (2.3.0). Especially with older versions of PHP being unsupported, more vulnerabilities and other issues could start popping up. Would also be nice if the forum design was 'refreshed' as well.

XenForo 2 is way smoother than this version. for example,
    • when editing a post, it doesn't redirect you to a whole other page
    • animations are smoother
    • looks newer overall and less clunky.
It also seems pretty easy, according to https://xenforo.com/docs/xf2/upgrade/#upgrading-from-xenforo-1
What do you all think? Maybe we could get an overhaul.

I completely agree with this, as like Cookiehead said, the official forums and mod repository of Rigs of Rods use a much newer version of XenForo. I also think that more features should be added and brought back at that, as I said in one of my threads from last year:
And yes, it makes sense upgrading to a newer version, given that the latest hotfix of the current game version (0.32.5 as of this writing) patches security vulnerabilities and exploits.
