urgent help needed: game won't run

    So I just purchased this game for 15$. I ran the BeanNG.drive-setup.zip Everything looked fine. So I kept on hitting next. It looked like it was trying to install or something. Then it was running the updater. It stopped a third of the way through. It said detecting proxy settings. Then it said FATAL ERROR unable to download file version.txt Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have happened. This looks like an amazing game and I am very disappointed it won't let me run it.
