Hi guys, here is a new mod that modifies the indicator lights of various cars to a tuner style or to a style like their real-world counterparts. Simply drag and drop into mods to install! Here are the vehicles that are modded: 200BX- With tuner Nissan 240SX lights Covet- With euro Honda Civic lights D-15 and AR162B's D-15/Roamer mod: 2000-2003 GMC Yukon lights Sunburst- With Subaru Legacy lights Vanster- With Ford E-350 lights Roamer - With 1999 Ford Expedition lights
I forgot to say in the Readme that you need to copy the DDS files into hatch.zip\vehicles\hatch or pickup.zip\vehicles\pickup. Otherwise it will not work. The readme will be fixed in the next version.
I kinda forgot that one too, but there is a tuner Pessima mod with custom lights already anyway somewhere on this site.
If you made a backup of the old textures, you can easily change them out. If you are talking about the parts menu, no, you can't customize them there. Of course, I could make it a selectable skin, but then that means the whole car's skin would be changed just for the lights.
My game runs on the lowest lighting settings and I tried the mod and it looked bad because of the settings. I went back and deleted the files that I put in and now all the lights have no texture. Please help!
Well, you were supposed to back up the original texture files before you put in the modded texture files. The only thing you can do now is reinstall BeamNG.
If I copy the mods section of the game and then reinstall it, will everything be back to normal? Or is there more that will change.
I am not sure. But since it was only a few texture files, somebody might upload their backed up files so you can place them back in the vehicle folders.
