I think a small classic European roadster would fit the game perfectly, with great handling, extensive customisation, and versatile for a wide range of scenarios that are part of the gameplay, such as racing, rallying and cruising. Here’s a concept I made with help from ChatGPT. Name: Autobello Monella. Design Inspiration: A mix of the Fiat 124 Spider, Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto and Lancia Fulvia Cabriolet. Driving characteristics: Light and nimble, with oversteer prone RWD dynamics with responsive but raw steering and a tendency to squat under acceleration, prone to lift off oversteer Customisation: Hardtop and soft top variants. Aftermarket racing kits, spoilers, rally lights, roll cages, taped headlights, 4 point harnesses etc. It could have many different types of configurations including base models, performance models, track cars, race cars, vintage rally cars, barn finds, restomods and export models
It’s a suggestion for a base game car --- Post updated --- Someone else could also take up my suggestion and make it, or something similar to it as a mod, as I don’t have any experience with modding
This just sounds like the Civetta Bolide to be honest, or close to it, i know it's not a roadster but Italian, RWD, customizable, soft and hardtops, oversteer prone, able to rally, race and cruise all checks out
If you think so, than it could be a British roadster instead to make it feel more distinct and also since Beamng.Drive doesn’t have a British brand
I’m sorry, I should’ve rephrased that. What I meant by the dynamics was for it to have have the handling of something like a Miata. lightweight, RWD and underpowered, yet tossable around corners and in a roadster body, whereas Bolide is a supercar and is powerful, twitchy and spins out easily if taken too fast around corners
