Hello. We all have been looking, wondering, asking, suggesting, cars, parts, maps... This is the Vehicle Parts Suggestion Thread. There Are Rules!! Here Are The Rules: 1. Vehicle Name 2. Part Lists/Suggestions 3. Please Make Sure That The Parts You Are Suggesting Are Not In-Game Already. 4. Make Your Post Neat. Some Extra Do's And Dont's: Don't: Say Random Things. (Example: For The Hopper, Why Not A Custom Roof Rack? Absolutely NO Spamming. If You Have Very Long Posts, Put Them In Spoilers. No Suggesting UV's for cars that don't have them. Do: Suggest Useful Parts It Is Ok If It Is A Modified In-Game Part You May Suggest Tires, More Suspension Options, Different Paint Jobs. They Are All Parts.
Quick question before we get started here ... Is the idea to make each post about a single vehicle? Say, if you have three parts you want to suggest for the Roamer, and two parts that you want to suggest for the I-series, they will have to be in separate posts?
I think a Gavril Barstow based off the Charger Daytona with a nosecone and a big spoiler would be cool. The nosecone can have twin pop-up headlights. The stripe on the rear can be colorable. It can also have a NASCAR variant. It can be called the Gavril Barstow Daytona Special.
I think that a roof tent with a jbeamed mattress, pillow and bedsheet would be something nice for the 800-Series, Roamer and H-Series.
Would like to see engine internals and more in depth upgrade there. What I think NEEDS to be in the game that ISN'T yet is thermostat changing... If you are running the racing or drag radiators, you're not going to have a 195F degree thermostat, you'll probably have the 160! 195 and 185 are generally more found on stock engines, the 160F thermostats should just come automatically with any upgraded radiator/cooling system. I have yet to see any transmissions completely burn up, that would be fun to see...
For the Randolph Dry Van trailer: 1. Badging - Most Dry Vans have manufacturer's badging in the locations circled in blue below. In addition, badging is also commonly placed low on the left cargo door, in a prominent position that can be seen by other truck drivers, or (more importantly) fleet managers in regular cars. 2. Warning Stickers - Circled in yellow above, Warning stickers would not be as much a new part as a change to the existing diffuse & specular maps. These stickers are usually required by law or nessecary to ensure proper operation and maintenance, so Beamng should try to follow suit in order to increase realism. Spoiler: Sample Warning Stickers 3. ABS - Antilock brakes have been required on all new semi-trailers and single unit trucks manufactured after March 1 1998, and many units manufactured before that date and still in regular service have been retrofitted. I checked an NHTSA report in an attempt to pin down details on how these systems operate, and came to the conclusion that it is possible for the system to operate even if the truck towing the trailer does not possess ABS (the opposite is also true, and the system obviously works if both units have ABS). 4. Dayton Steel Wheels - Sometimes referred to as spoke wheels, these were a common option on heavy-duty highway equipment right up until roughly 2000, when they were finally replaced by the more modern "Budd" steel wheels already in-game. The two wheel types were used concurrently for a long time, and neither would have been out of place on any heavy truck or trailer manufactured after 1965, although the two-hole Budd wheels currently in-game are a relatively recent innovation. In any case, the addition of Dayton-style wheels, in either a five or six-spoke style, would allow the Randolph trailers (and possibly the T-series itself as well) would provide a bit of retro flair! 5. Alternate underride guards - The current underride guards appear to meet current U.S. and Canadian standards. However, given that the Randolph trailer could be made to appear to have been produced anytime between 1975 and the present date with largely visual modifications, this is one of the few parts that would require different Jbeam structures. Compare the underride guards on the 1975 Fruehauf and current Manac trailers below, bearing in mind that guards produced as recently as 2010 have been known to fail spectacularly in rear-end collisions: 6. Official Body-Coloured Skin - Coordination is important, especially with the new car ramp coming. When you can get your race car, your truck, and your trailer to all match, every other team in the pits knows that you've arrived!
I would like the "Power Steering" option to be available for more vehicles and for older ones for example the new "Pessima" would only have Power Steering without Adaptive Power Steering. In-case you are wondering there is Power Steering on the ETK 800 series, but you have to manually select it.
is this a wheel that u r talking about? Also i smell something.............bad in here ,it's everywhere
well i think this part can be useful http://www.largus.fr/images/images/coffre_silver_950.jpg on phone so no photo
True heavy duty (12 and 14 ply- rating) tires for my derby cars. Custom slider driveshafts for all rear wheel drive vehicles. So that I'm not constantly breaking them. Radi- barrels (steam tanks for you Euro guys) so that I can smash stuff with a lot less chance of losing cooling at the expense of only being able to cool the motor for 8 to 15 minutes under hard throttle. Custom bumpers for cars or at least the ability to swap nearly any bumper from any vehicle, I.e: moonhawk bumper welded onto grand Marshall or Barstow and maybe the off road d- series bumper on the van and the SUV. Speaking of suvs, would be nice to be able to put the same front end under the van and the SUV since they are the same basic platform as the d- series, right? Beam axles with leaf springs and the like.... Just some extra options to throw around here.
