"vehicle stats (research)" app not working

for me it says it's logging and when it stops logging in the debug screen



unfortunately the files in the VSL folder stay blank. Not to mention that the game quotes the wrong directories to -



there's no folder called BeamNG.research to be found anywhere

 

actually it turns out that this may be a known issue

I was able to get this data logger to work - https://www.beamng.com/threads/data-collection-and-logging-to-a-file.58863
but for those of you wondering, the output directory has changed to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\[the current version directory] with file names like datalog_20230322_190507.csv

it is super helpful... now just to find out how to view these files in a neat multi graph ui XD
