Visually highlighting big number of beams with "group:" identifier?

    what would be good maybe could be to increase or decrease the quantity of beams visible like it's possible to make the car gradually invisible. I mean, reference could be the camera, and then one key to make beams more visibles untill we reach all the beams visible, and another key to make them disappear, beginning by the more far to the closest to the camera. So that we could see only the closests beam to us. but one other great thing could be, combined to the first one, to display beams of only one selected object. For exemple using the sticky selection in the part selector. Problem is beams are connected from an object to another.

    I hope there's a way to do that I would like to know, what I currently do is copy the code that highlights, and paste in all the areas needed, or if you have dozens of lines use search and replace.
