Re: Semi (my own design) HELP WANTED! You shouldn't smooth the model by adding vertices.. rather what is better is using the smooth lighting mode when selecting it in object mode. Try to avoid subdivision surface modifiers.
Re: Semi (my own design) HELP WANTED! That adds verts... Subdivision Surface, Multi-Resolution, smoothing..ect they are all modifiers that add verts.
Re: Semi (my own design) HELP WANTED! Oh I didn't put the latest update on the thread. On he latest update I used the smooth mod that doesn't add verts. Sorry bout that - - - Updated - - - UPDATE smoothed the truck out with the real shading smoother that doesnt add vertices.
Re: Semi (my own design) HELP WANTED! Have you thought of just modifying the T75 JBEAM structure to fit your model as it already has everything needed for a truck the only thing that would need overcoming is the slight glitchyness that would bring with it
Re: Semi (my own design) HELP WANTED! I would do that but I'm really bad at jbeam and I don't really know how all of it works - - - Updated - - - I need help. Something is wrong with my dae files. They always want to open with like windows photo viewer or whatever it's called. I went to the browse windows thing to choose a Program to open it but none of them were dae file openers. I need help so please help me out.
Re: Semi (my own design) my dae files are messed up i need help Egh wat. Why do you want to open the .dae file? If you want to keep working on it just use the .blend file and re-export another DAE when you are done, that how a correct workflow looks like. There are no 'predefined' DAE openers in Windows. You can open it with Blender by going (inside blender) to FILE. / IMPORT / DAE COLLADA.
Re: Semi (my own design) Ok thanks - - - Updated - - - I made a cube and put a jbeam on it and put textures on it and put it in game. the jbeam will work but the textures wont show. please help me - - - Updated - - - When I imported the chassis and suspension and stuff from the t series it didn't come with the wheels. Should I put my own wheels on the truck. I don't really know how to do it and I don't know where to find the t series wheels. So if you know just reply.
Re: Semi (need texturing help) Thanks. But do they have to be touching the truck in blender or can they be floating around
