This is my first ever post and I have had these ideas lingering in my brain for a while now. My first suggestion was to consider adding a physical avatar to the BeamNG VR. Not only would this enhance the realism, but it would also add a considerable tactile element to gameplay. The second is a follow-up to the first, which is not only just adding generic male/female/N-B avatars, but also using a format similar to VRChat or something of the like, with the SDK2 and SDK3, in which one could upload a completely custom avatar! I mean, think about it, the Hulk driving a Pigeon, or a cat driving a T-Series?! Besides adding a new creative element, I can only imagine how much more fun this would make BeamNG! It would be great for any player to express themselves, whether they want an anime avatar, a furry one, or something ridiculous (in a good way) like Samuel Hayden or something else cursed like that! The third and final one is that this would make a great motivator/initiative for multiplayer seeing as everyone would be looking at everyone else's avatars; making the game much more immersive in a multiplayer setting than the ordinary ball and hexagon(?) playermodel. A couple of technical vehicle additions (that I would love) at the end -Windshield wipers animations -Passenger and driver row airbags -Tire chains that have an actual grip enhancement; not just aesthetics. -Gas caps with opening and closing animations when you fuel up. (if ur gonna have fully functional gas stations, might as well add gas caps to compliment that lol) Please let me know if you found any of these ideas interesting or if you've had the same ideas!
I feel if the avatar models was a thing, there would be alot of furries, but i mean. There might be some normal ones, still, mostly furries says a furry
No bias from the furry occult. In general, I could agree as it would be pretty sick. The only issue is that the devs may not want to insinuate a person in the vehicle, the dummy/stig mods and the such have done it entirely by themselves. This is also somewhat ignoring the VR aspect, I believe having driver-models in the first place is smarter than going straight to VR. If the devs had a driver model that is simple that they could get away with it without being rated mature by the ESRB in some way, than I could see the possibility of this working locally by changing files, sort-of like how Assetto Corsa and Content Manager does it I believe. I think this is the best way for an idea to work instead of the devs attempting to integrate this.
yeah like for example before integrating vr models into this right away, first adding player models in non vr and maybe like slowly integrating vr models? idk all i know is i wanna see my rexouium fursona driving a bruckell bastion wagon
some say its impossible for him to wear socks, and he can open a beer bottle with his testes. all we know is hes called the STIG.
