Vulkan gets half the fps than Direct3D11 at max settings

    i have no clue on how this is possible because Vulkan is supposed to be faster


    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor

    32GB of RAM

    GPU:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 HP

    Probably because the 1070 is running out of VRAM. Check CTRL SHIFT F menu

    Old GTX cards do not support Vulkan very well. Mainly because it uses a lot of VRAM and these only have 8 GB or less, and then the improvement is sometimes better and sometimes worse depending of which GTX you take.
    I know that GTX 1080 handles Vulkan not bad, because I own one and it has great FPS with it, but it has micro-stutters all the time which is very disturbing.
    Recent GPUs support Vulkan better. RTX and GTX 16-series are very good cards for Vulkan. The GTX 1660 Ti is less powerful than a GTX 1080, but it might handle Vulkan better.
