    Mine does the same but after that it goes to a black screen with a purple border and that's it. I doesn't load.

    Try to resize the window (or press ALT+ENTER if the game is already in full screen)

    My game always opens in windowed mode but I tried to resize anyway and it did not change anything.

    Does that to me too. First I thought it was a secret message and I tried to take a sceenshot :p
    I can barely see it though, it's so fast I don't care.

    The message just flashes a very short time then I see the menu, so I get to play.

    I fixed my problem!!!!!!! apparently when my game wouldn't update properly so I uninstalled and retried and now it works! Now I can play this wonderful game problem free.
