Wall bug? (vehicle becomes stuck upon contact)

    I notice when i bump certain walls and barriers (as part of the map itself) the vehicle becomes stuck like a magnet to the wall and is unable to break free or bounce off. If you are going fast enough the wall will stretch out the car if it hits partially, rendering the car a piece of paper. For example the fences on Akron motor-speedway and the walls at Hirochi race park.

    Just want to know some info on this and see if its an actual bug or if it will change. Thanks for any info.

    Its a known bug and will be fixed in the future. Just stay away from the walls for now ;)

    Correction: It's not a bug (sort-of). It's a problem with the map. In BeamNG, objects that doesn't have enough tickness (for example that wall), will tend to grab vehicles. Solution: Make wall have more thickness.

    I think its more the 90 deg edges that are a problem. Sam will join the wall collision mesh later on to prevent getting stuck in those tiny holes in the wall.

    Thanks tdev. Will this solve the issue with that particular object or be a solution for the big picture?
