Warning Chimes?

    Hello! Today i got an Infiniti mod off of a friend of mine, and there are lights in the gauge cluster that turn on when you first start it, then go away. Just warning lights for oil, airbags, etc. But i have been wondering lately, why aren't there start up warning chimes? It seems like it'd be easy just to have a chime you only hear inside that could maybe be unique for any vehicle, or at least for any modern vehicle. Even old vehicle could have the classic ding sound from the 90s, or literal tiny bells from the 60s, 70s, 80s.

    I feel like this could be a simple but great feature to have. So, why hasn't it been developed? I'd just like to know why as it seems very easy. (for devs ofc, i could never.)

    I'm not 100% sure but Angelo234 might know how because he is a god at LUA and he created the Driver Assistance Systems mod

    Hm, possibly. But considering BeamNG didnt do it, it might be a bigger issue. But to default0_0player, i feel that it could easily be avoided. It would happen when you first turn the car on, although if you reset it and the car is already on i bet it could easily just restart if its in the middle of playing it.

    I wish i could contact Angelo234 but i feel that it'd be a very idiotic question.

    lights.png These are the warning lights i was talking about on the private mod. This made me want to ask this. Both the chimes and this would be amazing on a default vehicle. Especially because a friend of mine managed to make something that no vehicles in BeamNG have.




    So should i ask Angelo?

    I would wait with this until they add multi stage ignition to the game (which will be really soon hopefully)

    We are currently not considering this a priority and want to spend our work power in other areas. :)
