Water/Tires

So I've been doing the rallies in BeamNG, the Downhill Rally on Utah and the Rally on American Road, both which us the ETK rally car. Both rallies have water crossings, the Utah one towards the end and the American Road ones are here and there. I noticed, that when you go full throttle into the bodies of water, after you get through and start driving away, your tires just spontaneously start on fire. Is this a simulation of some sort? On American Road it's only the front two, but on Utah all four caught on fire and just exploded so I had flats till the end of the rally. Is this a real life simulation or is this a glitch with the car?
