when the car gets into the water, it immediately sinks under the water. In reality, the car would have been on the surface for about 1 minute. Also, water should be poured into the cabin slowly and as the cabin fills, the car should sink.Yes, it is difficult to implement this in the game, but at least the ingress of water into the cabin can be done by raising the water level, and not by animation of overflowing water.
that and your battery post, do seem pretty reasonable. this is the kinda stuff that would make beamng so much more immersive
it would be a pretty cool feature yeah, but but I imagine rather difficult to properly implement, due to the nature of beamng's physics compared to other games, you can't simply fake things and use predetermined animations (to an extent) to get the desired result especially considering if a car has a broken window, or a door missing ect, or even just the frame is a bit bent and there is a gap between the door and body, water will enter the cabin through there and sink faster, simulating that dynamically I imagine would be a real pain for me personally something of the level of how cars in GTAIV behave when in water would be perfectly acceptable, just a simple delay before it begins to sink
maybe when we get vr walking support we can get drinkable water bottles and put them in cup holders im thinking to much
I noticed this only in gta games, even in other car simulators there is no such thing. --- Post updated --- I also wrote about a realistic ignition system, safety systems like in mods like hirochi ccf 2, errors on the dashboard and the wcusa extension. --- Post updated ---
